How to use the sailing schedule calendar:

The calendar displays our current charter season from May through October. Use the arrows at the top left side of the calendar to advance month by month. Please read the complete text for each week to see what type of trip is offered and how many spaces are available.

Click on the green text bar week with your mouse for more details. Weeks that are already filled and have no space available will be indicated as “SOLD OUT”. All six day San Juan islands sailboat charters begin on Sunday and return on Friday.

Two Types of Sailing Charters:

“Join a Cruise” trips are where anyone can book a stateroom and join other couples (or individuals) doing the same thing. These chartered trips are generally available around the last week of each month, but as those weeks fill up we usually add additional weeks that are not yet listed on the calendar. Please call or check back with us in case we open a new week. Northwind is a spacious sailing yacht and we take a maximum of six guests weekly, so the boat is never crowded. You will also have your own private bathroom, no sharing with the crew or other passengers.

“Private Charter” weeks are where you put your own group of up to six people together and have exclusive use of the yacht for the week. If you can form your own group of six you receive the best discount, which is reflected on the rate page. If you want a private charter for fewer than six people it is more expensive. If you have a group of four adults and don’t mind having another couple join you, then please contact us to see if this option is available for your desired week.

Call 800-729-3207 or contact us to confirm availability of your selected week for our San Juan island charters. We can hold your selection for up to 7 days awaiting a deposit.

If the week you want is not currently open, then please contact us to be put on a waiting list in case of a cancellation.

Trouble shooting:
If you don’t see the calendar displayed on a month view please make sure “Month” is highlighted in black on the upper right side of the calendar. Refresh your screen to reset the calendar for the most up-to-date viewing.
